I am a writer. My job includes:
Coming up with names like Playbutton.
Creating the public face and helming the strategic planning of various design-based startups for Imprint Lab.
Asians came up with emoji, in case you didn’t already know.
I review books and film for a lot of people. Including but not limited to The Village Voice and Guernica. I decided to name-drop these two publications so I don’t come across as strictly an Asian-Am writer.
Did I mention I sell gay Asian paraphernalia?
These days I am a regular contributor to DAME Magazine, where I talk about women in executive positions, make animated gifs and fake movies about dope women in the cub cougar set.
Also the Editor-in-Chief of Paperhouses, where we interview rockstars like Ai Weiwei and roadies like Tucker Viemeister.
I’m constantly working on screenplays and novels and standup routines, none of which are published here (or anywhere really), but check in on this blog for the detritus.
My favorite movie is West Side Story.
